The Problem

What Was Broken

Troy has a woodworking shop where he build furniture and custom home construction projects. He specializes in counter tops and tables. He is very passionate about what he does. He loves talking about wood, he could go on for hours about it.

He was booking mainly through Facebook and wanted a better website to help turn interest into customers, communicate his deep knowledge of wood, and support scaling his custom countertops, tables, and furniture business beyond local word-of-mouth. He is able to find a good source of customers but he is looking to grow beyond Facebook. He want to really turn this into a growing business.

Troy had a bare-bones Wix landing page built by his girlfriend that lacked professionalism, strong conversion elements, and the ability to properly showcase his expertise. It is a simple bare-bones Wix landing page. The problem is that she is not a professional and Troy does not have the time to fiddle with it himself. He needs a better website that will help convert.

The Solution

How We Fixed It

Our strategy with Troy was simple. We got on the phone with him and ironed out exactly what he was looking for in a website and what he wanted his brand to represent. We had in-depth calls with Troy to define his brand voice and vision.

The strategy centered on creating an authentic, trust-building online presence that highlights his process, real craftsmanship, and passion for wood.

He already had a logo but it was more of a rough image so we were going to upgrade the resolution on it for him. We upgraded his existing logo for higher resolution and built a clean, conversion-focused landing page using real project photos and detailed educational content about wood types and treatments.

System Built

What We Actually Built

We first started with a landing page. A professional, responsive single-page landing website designed to convert visitors into inquiries. It features compelling brand storytelling, detailed sections on his woodworking process, wood species information, project galleries with real client work, services (countertops, tables, custom furniture), and clear calls-to-action for bookings and consultations. He need copy that fit his brand voice and talks about his process for wood treatment. We used Real photos from his work so visitors can see that this isn’t some AI generated site and we also went into detail about different types of wood that he actually uses.

Now we are exploring expanding the site to include new features such as a bigger photo gallery and a pricing calculator.
